CNY
Literally, it's a special festival and holiday for those being at different places to go home and reunite with their family members and all loved ones. There are a lot of Do's and Don't's during the festival. It is celebrated from the eve up to the fifteenth day of the duration. Each festival day carries different and unique meaning. *blabla*
Well.. Old granny stories. I could memorise these from the front to the back and from the last sentence back to the front. Personally the way I treat CNY is more of sustance over form. I make it a task to comprehend the inherent and coherent meanings of every single session and ritual. It is filled with mysterious festive colour blending with the attractiveness of the ethnic especially living in a multi-cultural country harmoniously.
Talking and Doing are two differentiated things. I go home as the time stipulated. I helped out in any way I can for my family. I painted the old colour-fading door. I captured every single precious moment with them. I pretended like I am a very good child. I took the initiative and greeted every relative with nice words just to avoid any further talk-behind regarding my manner. The way my parents raised me was different. They tell you what and when and who, but you gotta sort it out how by yourself.
It's already the sixth of Lunar. It nearly marks the end of my holiday and retreat because I gotta embark on my part time career life soon. But wait, I am not quite ready to be back to the hustling and bustling city life! Rescue me... Help...

CNY
Looked after a toddle who is so trouble-making. (yet he is adorable when he obeys you and talking to you in a language that only he himself can understand. lol)
Bought some materials such as flour, cocoa powder, raisins etc from grocery shops for my aunt to make cookies for sale. (I guess the cashier is already bored of seeing my face more than twice per day.)
Offered my honourable (=.=)'' assistance to the making of traditional Kuih Kapit. Lit the fire using charcoal which I seldom touch about it. After that my job was to fold the small round pieces of cooked Kuih Kapit into a size of one quarter of a circle. I could obviously feel the heat of Kuih Kapit steaming my fingers that I almost cried out loud. *Don't laugh at me please* Then let the pieces be cold and keep/arrange in the unused & thoroughly washed and dried cream-cracker tins when the temperature of them drops slightly.
(The kuih kapit will be affected with damp if you place it cold for a long time)
Did some cleanup of the house. Cleaned those stubborn dirt and stains to usher the coming of Metal Tiger Lunar New Year.
Made payment of the unpaid bills. Exchanged new RM notes at Bank.
Visited post office to send my mum some home-made cookies. (I was totally taken aback at the attitude of the
*Vision 2020 seems getting further and further away.
Bought a new jeans for CNY at Billion. Decorated and "reddened" the house.
That's all. By the way I'm not so into CNY mood as though there's a thorn in my flesh but I can't figure it out what the f*cking thing is. Oops.. I'm sorry. Alright.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last Saturday (09052009)
I went hanging out with my long-time-no-meet friends
In fact
We were planning to celebrate Mosquito's Birthday on that day
However =.=''
Our planning seemed to be a fiasco
As another Gang of friends has already reserved Mosq =(
At last
I followed them to ABC Restaurant
The place where they wanted to meet
We had a really simple but contented, cheerful, radiant and blissful celebration
A Mocha-flavoured cake
Some ex-schoolmates
A fresh restaurant with some dishes
That was merely our ordinary celebration
Kang was having his hair cut while we were celebrating
After that
We headed to Jusco for having a walk
I bought two neckties for the purpose of hosting Orientation Week
Time passed and the skies were embraced by darkness
It was time for us to proceed to another activity
Mosq did not follow us for next station
We were participating in the Wesak Day parade in BM areas
I was so delighted because
I thought have done a good deed
--Being a volunteer for a society, holding a donation bottle and walked along the roadside--
It was tough but fascinating
Moreover
I had never had this kind of experience before
I met a variety of people's behaviour
I came across some funny stuffs
I ran into some old friends whom I know
I gained loads of fun rather than a number of sufferings
What I could conclude is
Broad-minded is the forerunner of all happiness.
Harmonious of religions leads to better understanding in community.

The Buddha Way)
The Song of Wesak Day)
